Como docente e investigadora en el campo de la didáctica (y también -cómo no decirlo-, lectora apasionada de Alessandro Baricco), la escuela Holden constituye el tipo de experiencias que necesitaba conocer con el cuerpo y no solo leer sobre ella. En marzo de 2018 y gracias a la gentileza de todos/as en la escuela que contestaron mis correos y el regalo amoroso de quienes pagaron el pasaje, estuve en la Holden de Turín. En un antiguo edificio sobre la Plaza Borgo Dora, de tipología con patio central concebido originalmente para fabricar bombas, desde el año 2013 la Holden aloja docentes y estudiantes en torno a la narración. Lo que sigue es la entrevista a Martino Gozzi, el director didáctico de la escuela, tan comprometido con los estudiantes y la enseñanza, como generoso al momento de aceptar esta conversación pese a mi italiano balbuceante; en su honor, ambas lenguas conviven aquí, cada una con sus gestos.
