Ethics and good editorial practices
Anclajes adheres to the Guidelines on good practices for publications COPE (Committee of Publication Ethics) proposed in its Core Practices (https://publicationethics.org/core-practices). For this reason, it guarantees the confidentiality of the review process and adheres to the commitment not to publish any work that has a component of plagiarism, self-plagiarism or fraud.
Policies on authorship and contribution:
Anclajes asks all authors identified in a contribution to sign a declaration of authorship and originality as a condition prior to publication.
Procedures for complaints and appeals:
Upon receipt of a complaint or appeal about the members of the journal and its editorial environment (authors, evaluators, readers), it is transmitted to the Editorial Board, who determines the steps to follow and the people and instances to whom it is necessary to resort to solve the problem. A response is offered within 30 (thirty) calendar days after receipt of the claim. If this is not dealt with satisfactorily, the claimant may go to the Editorial Council of Journals of the Universidad Nacional de La Pampa (CERAC) as a final instance of appeal.
Conflict of interest policies:
Anclajes has detection, follow-up and monitoring mechanisms to resolve conflicts of interest that may arise in the different publication instances: between the editors and managers of the journal; between these and the authors; between the authors and the evaluators; between its content and its readers. The conflicts that arise within the work team of the journal and its different councils are analyzed in meetings and consultations among its members, with the follow-up of the Director and Associate Editors of the journal and the advice and supervision of the Editorial Board of Journals of the Universidad Nacional de La Pampa (CERAC).
When suspecting the existence of an undisclosed conflict of interest in a manuscript received or in an article already published, the journal follows the decision tree recommended by COPE (http://publicationethics.org/files/Spanish%20%281%29.pdf).
Claims from readers are analyzed by the Editorial Board and resolved according to the procedures established for complaints and appeals.
Policies on data sharing and reproducibility:
The journal allows the self-archiving of published articles, in their post-print version, in institutional or thematic repositories, personal web pages or any other pertinent use. The authors may establish agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in the journal (for example, placing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with the acknowledgment of having been published first in this journal.
Ethics Oversight Policy:
The Universidad Nacional de La Pampa is a member of Similarity Check, a Crossref service that aims to help journal editors determine the originality of published articles. Similarity Check uses the iThenticate software to detect coincidences and similarities between the texts submitted for evaluation and those published in other sources. In the event that plagiarism, (self) plagiarism and other forms of misleading reuse of own or third-party texts are suspected or detected, Anclajes follows the decision tree recommended by COPE in case of suspicion of the existence of an undisclosed conflict of interest in a received manuscript or an already published article (http://publicationethics.org/files/Spanish%20%281%29.pdf). The steps to follow are summarized below:
Analysis of the suspected lack of originality by the Editorial Committee of the journal:
Communication of the doubt or proof of plagiarism, (self) plagiarism or redundant publication to the author or authors, with the option of submitting a disclaimer or clarification within 30 (thirty) calendar days after receipt of the statement.
Analysis of the clarifications or discharges received, with the following resolution options: 1. Acceptance of the discharge made by the author or authors and completion of the initiated process; 2. Rejection of the discharge received and withdrawal of the text from any of the pre or post publication stages in which it was found; 2.1. Punishment of the author or authors who has actually incurred in plagiarism or (self) plagiarism; the sanction consists of the impossibility of proposing new collaborations to the journal during the next three years from the resolution issued by the Editorial Board.
The opinion of the Editorial Board on the lack of originality is issued within a period not exceeding 60 (sixty) calendar days after receiving the disclaimer or clarification from the author or authors. The Editorial Board can count on the advice of the Editorial Board of Magazines of the Universidad Nacional de La Pampa and, if necessary, on the advice of other experts, internal or external to the publishing body. The decision is unappealable
The journal reserves the right, depending on the nature and effects of the fraud detected, to take other administrative and jurisdictional measures for a better solution to the problem.

In turn, the authors assign the rights to the publication of their texts to the Universidad Nacional de La Pampa, but maintain their intellectual property.
