As part of a project studying the subjective transformation and change in teaching practices of in-service teachers, this paper is a case study of a preschool teacher who participated in a course based on the analysis of her filmed own classes. Clinical analysis of her practices and interviews from a framework that combines psychoanalytic and cognitive theories led to a series of hypotheses about the scope and limitations of the course promoting transformations of squemes, representations, subjective features and teaching practices, as well as the dynamics of the process.
