Bilingualism in the gypsy community of Santa Rosa: linguistic attitudes and usage contexts
Abstract
El artículo expone los resultados de una investigación de campo realizada en la comunidad rom de Santa Rosa (La Pampa). Hemos establecido en qué contextos sociales son utilizados los códigos lingüísticos -español y montenegrino-, y las actitudes lingüísticas (de rechazo, afirmación o lealtad) hacia cada uno de ellos. También se ha tratado de dirimir, en el análisis de los treinta protocolos obtenidos, la relación entre las actitudes hacia la lengua o la elección de la variedad, y la identidad étnica.
