Horacio Quiroga, an Avant-Garde Writer
Abstract
Se indica en este trabajo la presencia en textos sobresalientes de Horacio Quiroga –los reunidos en Los desterrados de 1926– de procedimientos propios del relato cinematográfico amalgamados a concepciones no unitarias del sujeto. La adopción de esos modos de representación acerca a este autor a tendencias de neto corte vanguardista, reubicándolo así en el campo literario rioplatense de la tercera década del siglo XX.
