The administration of Technical Eeducation in the last 20 years

The administration of technical education in Argentina presents an educational legislation linked to political, economic and social factors. In this case, the historical processes of the last twenty years allow us to understand the role of the national State in the framework of public policies. In this way, we can analyze the educational reform considering the centralization/decentralization of government policies. Regarding this, the complexity of the legal frameworks that regulate technical education in a federal country leads us to a network of regulatory changes that end up intertwining the management of the level. Therefore, we ask ourselves: in what way does the political-administrative organization of the educational system affect the reform of the Technical Professional modality in the area of the City of Buenos Aires? In this sense, we set out to examine the planning of the New Secondary School, especially in technical training. The importance of the events that occurred in this period of time becomes decisive for conceiving the future of technical education in said jurisdiction.
