In this paper I share a pedagogical proposal carried out in a high school in the curricular space Information and Communication Technologies of the 4th year, within the framework of Educational Practice IV Residence, of the Computer Science Teacher Training Program. The proposal arises with the intention of stimulating the development of logical-computational thinking and contributing to the formation of a digital citizenship through the introduction to the programming of mobile applications with App Inventor. The methodology used is that of guided design, in which each group has to create an application following step-by-step instructions to become familiar with the environment. Then the students were given some challenges where they had to make modifications to these projects and customize them. Finally, they had to create an application as a final work, for which we shared some examples, resources and guidelines to incorporate new elements.
