To be born and coexist: the policies of the Ministry of Innovation and Culture of Santa Fe, Argentina (2007-2019)

Abstract

This publication analyzes the relationship between culture and education based on the analysis of policies of the Ministry of Innovation and Culture of Santa Fe, Argentina, between the years 2007 and 2019. It is organized in 3 sections: the first “To be born and coexist: two intertwined dimensions” exposes conceptual and methodological decisions of the research that is being developed; the second part called “Necessary intersections: work and action for democratic and participatory integration” addresses the conjunction of forces that were deployed for the creation of the Ministry of Innovation and Culture and the production of public policies designed there and, the last section, “Public policies for being born and coexist” examines the specific programs that made up the central body of the Ministry during the years under study.

Profesora y Licenciada en Ciencias de la Educación, Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación, Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos. Especialista y Magister en Educación, Universidad de San Andrés. Docente e investigadora, Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias, Universidad Nacional del Litoral, dentro del campo del currículum y las políticas públicas en educación. Miembro de la Dirección de Planeamiento Institucional, Universidad Nacional del Litoral (2018-2022). Actualmente cursa el Doctorado Sentidos, Teorías y Prácticas de la Educación (Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias, Universidad Nacional del Litoral).
