About school time: snow in our hands?

The question of the title revolves around school time and, in order to try to address this question, I propose some approaches through a conceptual theoretical journey by those authors who have investigated and thematized it. To this end, I make a brief systematization that, without exhausting all the materials that have been produced on school time, may offer some conceptual and analytical coordinates that may be a contribution to think about the time of and in the school, and that allows us to understand how it works and which were its mutations in the context of social confinement. The developments that I present
here constitute a limited version of one of the chapters that will be part of the writing of my doctoral thesis1 , in relation to the reconstruction of the state of the art in theorizations about school time. This doctoral research investigates school absences at the secondary level and tries to explore the presence and absence of students at school.
