The purpose of this paper is to dialogue, to stress and to reflect upon education at secondary school, rurality, and community processes within different state areas, and about the compliance of the right to education in rural environments. We will show different school experiences that display unique management approaches, as is the case of a rural alternating agricultural school located in the province of Corrientes (Argentine Republic), an Agricultural Family School (EFA). The chosen EFA represents an experience of community organization, facing the lack of possibilities of secondary education in the rural area. The process of formation and construction of the space of this particular school crystalizes and brings clues about the collective history and the arguments that accompany it. We found in the school space hints of social organization and construction of other ways “of making and being school”.
