In this article we work on the view held by the argentinian visual artist Mirtha Dermisache about the education of her time and the way in which she projected and carried out a method for the teaching of plastic techniques with the intention of enhancing the expression of people. We will focus particularly on two pedagogical experiences organized by her: the taller de Acciones Creativas (workshop of Creative Actions) and the Jornadas del Color y de la Forma (Work Sessions of Color and Form). Throughout this work we visited the readings made by Dermisache, the ways in which she conceived art and its teachin and learning and the characteristics that her method adopted. We work in turn on the features of both proposals looking for similarities and differences. We use the contributions of theorists like Herbert Read, John Dewey and José Garcia Molina; as well as period sources (manuscripts, newspapers and magazines) and interviews conducted in the present.Downloads
