CURRICULAR POLICIES AND INSTITUTIONAL DECISIONS IN SECONDARY EDUCATION. A QUALITATIVE STUDY FROM THE VOICES OF MANAGEMENT TEAMS AND TEACHERS
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The article proposes to systematize a corpus of interpretations made on curricular policies and institutional decisions in secondary schools during the period 2020-2023. These provisional conclusions are the result of a research work developed within the framework of a research project called: “Teaching practices in the Oriented Cycle in the province of La Pampa.” The objective is to understand the ways of carrying out secondary education to guarantee its obligatory nature and the purposes proclaimed by the National Education Law more than seventeen years after its enactment. From the qualitative paradigm, singularities are of interest without the intention of generalizing the results. The teaching proposals and strategies to support school trajectories are central to the investigation. It is especially interesting to identify changes and continuities that allow us to reflect and rethink secondary education today, after an emergency context such as the pandemic.
