Abstract

Given the national emergency in which education in Argentina finds itself, college education in particular, we present a route of some moments since the restoration of democracy. The selected landmarks coincide with periods of high fragility in the university system, of profound transformations in favor of meritocratic, neoliberal policies (management of Carlos Menem, Mauricio Macri and Javier Milei) and with the changes of teacher training, given the formative sense of the University of La Pampa. Although a linear reading is avoided, it can be seen that the movement is increasingly broader, deeper and crueller. The challenge that is posed advances in the construction of an us that sustains life in common.
