Abstract

The article analyzes the effects of social class inequalities on three dimensions of the living conditions in Argentina in 2014-2015: household income, durable consumer goods and economic-financial assets. We resorted to the National Survey on the Social Structure of the Research Program on Contemporary Argentine Society for data and based on the Socio-Occupational Classifier (Torrado,1998), we elaborated class and path classifications. The results show significant differences between classes and also internal heterogeneities according to intergenerational trajectories.
